For years now I have had the “Holstee Manifesto” placed in my house or office somewhere that I can read it often. The first line reads “This is your life, do what you love and do it often.” In the past two years I have taken my life in a new direction, left my government job and started my own business which enables me to do what I love and to do it often!
The last line of the manifesto reads “Life is short, live your dream and share your passion”. I have always been one to follow my heart and though these decisions are not always the easiest ones, they usually end up creating a sense of ease in the body and clarity in the mind – making it all worthwhile in the end.
I’m writing this blog with mixed emotions to let you all in on my plans for the New Year. I will be leaving Corner Brook to return back to Victoria, BC to complete my next level of training – an 800 hr Accredited Yoga Therapist Program. At this point in my business I am confident that this is what I want to be doing as a long term career and want to receive the highest level of training possible to better serve my students.
This move will most likely be a permanent one, but I never like to plan too far in advance as you never really know what’s around the corner! I do plan on building my business online so this will definitely not be the last time you will be hearing from me. You can actually expect to hear from me more often in the upcoming months with lots of great info about yoga therapy. First on my list will be to create a Yoga Nidra audio so I can still put you to sleep all the way from BC! For those that are currently attending my classes at FIT Studio – please stay tuned for updates on new classes starting in January!
From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank everyone that has supported me in my business over the past few years. It has been a joy to work with each and every one of you, and to share this journey together. The teacher in me bows to the teacher in you, together we are one….
